Long Chain Metal Zipper Production

A metal zipper consists of two rows of protruding teeth made of metal. The metal teeth may be made of Brass, Aluminum or Nickel, and they are designed to interlock like clasped hands, linking the rows, thus creating a "Continuous Clothing Closure". For this to be possible, the metal zipper is usually fitted with a slider, often made of metal. The slider is operated by hand, and depending on the direction of its movement, the two rows of protruding metal teeth will either be interlocked or separated. This allows for full of partial fastening of the zipper depending on the user's preference.

The Process

1. Creating Center Cord:

You can create Center Cord with our “QLQ-CC8M Automatic Zipper Centre Cord Making Machine (8 heads)” machine. Which has 4 heads in frontside and 4 head in the backside. You can use 8 bobbins there.

You can use this machine to create center cords from number 3 to number 10 by adjusting the yard quantity. If you want to create center cord you will need Yarn of different sizes. For center cord rolling there are two options for your choice, machine with 2 heads or machine with 6 heads. We use that rolling machine to wrap the yards into the bobbin.

2. Creating Zipper Tape:

The next step is to create zipper tape, for this, you will have to wrap the yarns. For this you can use QLQ-YWM Automatic Yarn Warping Machine there Are Two Options For Your Choice, Machine With 2 Heads Or Machine With 6 Heads.

In zipper tape production you will need

3. Long Chain Metal Zipper Production:

After making the Center Cord and Zipper tape we are ready to go for the Long Chain Nylon zipper production. This process contains some sub-steps like making metal zipper teeth, metal zipper polishing, zipper plating, zipper lacquering, zipper wrapping etc. We will discuss about every points with required machines below:

3.1-Making Metal Zipper Teeth:

In order to make metal zipper teeth, We can follow some ways. Like Normal Teeth Stamping, Y teeth stamping with one head, Y teeth stamping with 2 heads for more quicker process. Finally we go through zipper combination process.

3.4- Zipper Lacquering:

This machine is used to iron, finalize and coat lacquer for metal zippers of which with gold, silver, anti brass color, or mirror face and bright face effect. After processed by this machine, zipper has a bright, shiny and third dimension feeling lacquer Coating which helps to improve the appearance and increase the value of zipper as well as effective ensuring zipper will not easily discolor or oxidized in future application.
